Website Problems

After completing the music video, i decided to import the video on the the Webpage in which i created. This was a very technical job, as i had to find the right coding to allow me to import the video. At first i could only get the sound up on the Webpage but after researching and finding out about cosing i found out that the problem why i cudnt upload the video and music was because it wasent the right file format. so to solve this problem i had to re-save music video as another file format which was WAV, which allowed me to upload the music video and sound together.

CD Cover/Magazine Cover

I researched a lot of CD covers so that our CD cover could be as successful as the ones we researched. After we researched our own individual CD covers we then came together and chose how we was going to do our CD cover. We thought this was the best idea because all our ideas would come to one completed high standard CD cover. Below i have scanned in the CD cover plan, these images are below:

Problems With final part of music video

The editing of my music video is know fully completed, i just have to gte the song 'drink' on the video. We have got the song on a CD so we have to import the CD so that the apple mac's can read the CD. Everytime we put the CD in the mac, it could not read it or pick that their was a CD inside, so we decided to save the song on a normal computer then send it to sam's email adress so then he could go on the Mac and save it that way.

End of editing/start of Ancillary Tasks

We are now coming to the end of editing our movie and moving on to the final tasks, which are to create a digital CD pack and also create a internet webpage for our music band. As a group we all did bits to the editing so that it would be fair for each other, such as nobody arguing as they can keep bits they like or delete bits which they want in the movie. Overall the editing bit of the music video was good because we all chose the best bits which would help to make the music video successful.

I have started to design the website from scratch. I created the website by using a number of cascading style sheets and using html coding through notepad. This was hard because it was my first time creating a website, but by using trial and error i figured things out for myself so after a couple goes my self I figured out how to do things.

Before actually creating the website I decided to get the images and sound before hand so that there wouldn't e any problems I would get whilst doing the Webpage such as not being able to get a picture of the band together. The second thing i started to do was decide on a layout which i thought was professional and also simple so that any user would be able to access it. I decided to use basic colour also so that there are no colour clashes which will also help to make the Webpage more accessible for users.

Information Transfer & Upload Problems

As we saved our first recordings of our music video on one apple mac and the other bit is on another Computer. So we had to import the video off one apple mac and import it to another after editing it. At first we had problems with this because we couldnt edit the first bit of our music video after tranffering it on to the other Mac. We couldnt edit it because the original recording was still on the old mac. After reading instructions and how to solve this problem we solved the situation we had and could put all our work together.

Problems with getting images for Webpage

We had a number of difficulties with trying to get an image of one website to put up on our webpage we created for our music band. The images we needed were on Facebook, so we decided to send it to the Apple Mac computers via bluetooth from a mobile phone device. This took a while as we had to pair the phone etc so there was a connection between the apple mac and the mobile phone. After pairing the devices together we finally downloaded the image but we had a number of difficulties again because when we downloaded the image the size of it was to small and when we zoomed in the image the quality of it disorted and was not a high quality professional photo. After solving all the technicl problems we found a number of high quality photos so that we could choose the best one to suit our webpage.
