Shooting Scripts

The shooting scripts match up with the story boards. The shooting script tells you the date you are going to shoot the scene, the time of the shooting, actors, props and shot requirements needed. Below i have gave an example how the first shot will be laid out:

Shot description: Opening scene of sam waking up

Shot Location: Sam's house

Shooting Date: 10/12/10

Shooting Time:10:15 am

Shot requirements: Panning shot from left to right

Actors:Sam lewis

Props: Bed in Bedroom

As you can see that the shooting scripts match with the storyboard. Doing a shooting script helps us to be organized as we know what needs to be done by what date and if we don't do it we will know we are slacking and falling behind. The shooting script helps to break down each section of the story boarding.

Storyboarding

Above are all the storyboards to our music video which we are going to create. Myself, sam and Ravnita sat down together and discussed what the music video was going to be about, how we were going to make it different from other music videos and what's going to happen in each scene. Below each story board there is a description of what is happening in each scene. We have tried our best to make our music video unique.

For our music video we have decided to do two different scenes but in one video. as our music video is about "drink", the two scenes we decided to is "sam" waking up late for this party which he is suppose to be going to but as he is late he has thoughts about what the party is like. for example whilst sam makes himself a cup of tea, the kettle goes off and in his thoughts he see's bottle's of champagne popping off. After sam has got ready and sorted to leave he has a couple of challenges on his way before getting to the party. The challenges he has to face are; him forgetting his shoes, trying to rob a child's pair of shoes but the children beat him up, then a dog chasing him and an item of clothing missing every time he comes across a challenge. The music video as you can tell is going to be unique and hopefully successful.
